Refund request immediately closed despite meeting all conditions
I purchased Riders Republic on July 2nd and have played it for less than 1 hour (55 minutes). I submitted a refund request, but it was closed very quickly without any explanation or email notification.

I then submitted a second refund request, which was also automatically closed a few minutes later. After that, I then wrote a message to Steam Support but even that request was closed within 5 minutes – again without any message or reason given.

I clearly meet the refund policy conditions:
– The game was purchased less than 14 days ago
– I played it for under 2 hours

I’d really appreciate if someone could take a look at this, because the automatic system seems to be closing my requests incorrectly.

Thank you!

Sounds like a compromised account. I'm on mobile, someone else will post the list of things to do to secure your account. After that you can try again.

Closed by a Malicious Individual
A ticket can be considered to have been maliciously closed when someone other than the person submitting the ticket closes it.

If your support tickets are being closed without response from the Steam Support team, and you're not closing them yourself, it's likely that someone else is closing them - perhaps maliciously. In the very rare cases where this happens, it can usually be attributed to an account hijacker that is trying to make recovery difficult for the account owner. While this is a serious situation when it comes up, it's also usually a simple matter of securing your computer and email account before getting back in touch with Steam Support to recover your Steam account.

Secure your account:-

1. Scan for malware.

2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.

3. Deauthorize all other devices.

4. Change passwords from a clean computer.

5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App. https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage

6. Revoke the API key (there should be no key).

Specifically, Steam answers things. Hijackers, on the other hand, close all tickets to make it more difficult to reach support...
