So I'm having an interesting problem. Whenever I start playing a game after a short while Steam will close, interrupting the game, I am still able to play the game on mouse and keyboard but if I'm on a controller then the controls don't work and I need to switch to mouse and keyboard. When I reboot Steam it will then close the game I'm playing or close it shortly after when I think everything is fine. I have updated my graphics card, cleared my Steam web cache all that usual troubleshooting rigamaroll. My PC is new with a 4080 super and the games I'm playing are indie games so the requirements are not the problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make Steam stop closing while I'm playing games? I appreciate the help.
