TF2 Backpack
Hello all, a few years ago my Steam password got skimmed via the "TF2 tournament" scam and my entire backpack got stolen. I understand that under normal circumstances these items can usually never be recovered but this will be my final cry for help. While I've since become an adult and these items are of little financial concern, my backpack was of deep sentimental value. As a proud member of the Steam community for over a decade at this point, I hope some legitimate concern is given to my problem. Despite all of this, I deeply revere Steam as a company and the values they hold as a cornerstone of our gaming community. Thank you for your consideration.

Best,
Rick Dishes.

This is a user forum. Steam doesn't run customer support off the forums.

Valve doesn't restore items. It's incentive to keep your account secure. And they don't make exceptions a decade (or years) later, so I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

people abused the restoration process so steam stopped. only in extreme circumstances will they do a restoration. and extreme means something that requires steam to make coding changes to how many things work.
1. This is the Steam forums, not Steam Support. Employees won't reply to your response.
2. Steam does not return stolen items.
