Stuck on this error for over 14 hours:

“It looks like you’ve been attempting a lot of purchases in the last few hours. Please wait a while before trying again.”

Despite waiting far beyond the typical 1–2 hour cooldown, I still can’t complete any purchase — not even small DLC or wallet top‑ups.

What I’ve tried already:

• Cleared my cart completely
  
• Canceled any pending transactions under Account → Purchase History
  
• Cleared cookies and cache (Steam client & browser)
  
• Toggled Beta participation off → restarted → back on → restarted
  
• Attempted purchasing via Big Picture mode, desktop browser, and incognito — always with Steam Wallet funds
  
• Waited more than twice the usual cooldown mentioned by others StackExchange[gaming.stackexchange.com] and forums

Nothing works — the same error pops up on clicking “Continue to payment”.

Has anyone else been locked out for more than 12–14 hours? Did you find a fix beyond basic troubleshooting? Any help would be much appreciated!
