Question About Eye Symbol In Buddy list
I'm playing Beyond: Two Souls right now on Steam and when I bring up the Steam overlay I see my buddy list on Steam and it shows me with this eye symbol near my screenname, and the eye has a line through it. What is that? Does that mean friends don't see me playing this game or something?

That struck through eye means that you're toggled to Invisible in Steam. You are invisible to friends, and they cannot see what game (if any) you're playing. It is a privacy option, not an option related to the game. It is easy to toggle back to "Online" via the Steam Overlay menu.:CultEye:

Overlay menu... that what I get to by clicking the drop down arrow next to my screenname, and then clicking "online" as opposed to invisible , offline, and whatever else?

Clicking "online" or "Away" or whatever there doesn't get rid of the eye symbol with the line through it.

Clicking settings in overlay... I'm not seeing an option in there either.
hi
Yeah I seem to be unable to toggle off invisibility... the eye symbol

edit: oh i didn't realize its from turning steam profile to private. changing to friends only fixes the issue
