Refound.
Hello, I've bough a DLC for dayz, called Frostline. I'ts just a map nothing else.
It has issues running on my pc and i made a request for refound.
With out any question it got closed and refused because i played Dayz Chernorus for 7 hours :D
What does Cherno and Frostline have to do with each other ?
Frostline is a map, nothing else and I've not even started it since i've purchased it.

"Set on a snow-covered archipelago called Sakhal, spanning an impressive 83km² (not including ice sheets), featuring a breath-taking winter wilderness teeming with new challenges and opportunities for survival. Brace yourself for a truly immersive adventure where the environment itself is as much your adversary as the infected and other survivors."
This is the discr.

DLC purchased from the Steam store is refundable within fourteen days of purchase, and if the underlying title has been played for LESS than two hours since the DLC was purchased.
Okay I've got now... But I still do t think it's right. I've been playing dayz for a while so just cos the dlc don't work for me I can't play till I get s refound even tho the dlc has nothing to do with the game or maps I play. Logic.
You should always be aware of the refund policy for ANY store.

Not knowing it is not an excuse.
Yes that's very true :P ig no more steam purchases from me ;D
refound = to found again
refund = to give back, return
There you go, for being super helpful. not slept in emm 70h ? eng sec lang. still not too bad.

Steam can't see if you're playing a DLC or not, it only tracks whether or not the game is running. Maybe you didn't play the DLC, but they can't verify that.

The reason it works this way with DLC refunds is that Steam can not see if a DLC is being used or not. A DLC is part of the main game and does not have its own exe or runtime routine.
So the only reliable measurement Steam has is to see if the game is running or not.
Thats why playing the main game after purchasing a DLC for it counts for the refund time limit of the DLC.
There is just no other way.
