Cpu and Gpu usage issues
my cpu and gpu usage are both sitting at about 30% and game fps are low. Its a fresh install of windows and ive reinstalled the games and still the same issues. Just want to be able to use all the power my pc has. My friend with an older build is getting very similar fps to me.

Specs are
I5 14600kf
64gb 6000m/t ram
Rtx 5080

With this said i think i should be getting more then 90 fps on medium settings on rust…

If you use custom iso windows install someone made.
If using 3rd party app to do things for you that screw things up.
If you're letting windows do the video drivers for you.
If you're setting windows in power saving, or low performance.

Then may be the problem you're facing, otherwise something else going on, could be mods you're using, could be something else you're doing they tick a setting that screwing it up.

Is this only happening to rust, or every other game? I won't question why you par RTX 5080 with i5 14600kf, I assume plan get better CPU at some point.

Update your drivers. Then check your temperatures to see if your hardware is being throttled because of heat. You may also be capping your frame rates, either through your drivers, the game, or by using vsync.
