Unable to Map steam library to older steam folders
Hello,

I just updated my steam and had to re-install windows on a new Hard drive. My older drive has an older steam library with games. When I go to Settings->Storage->Add-Drive. It does not give me any option to search for or link the folder but instead creates a NEW FOLDER. The new folder being H:\SteamLibrary\steamapps

I have looked everywhere to find a way to Manually select the old path of H:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common

My only Options are Make Default, Browse Folder (this takes be to the first location with no with no option to move it), Repair Library (just recreates the H:\SteamLibrary\steamapps folders. Rename and Remove Library.

I was able to easily map this via older versions when I did my last upgrade in 2022 but with this newest version its not allowing me to. All google searches point to instructions for the older versions that do not work with the newest version.

Any suggestions?

After selecting Add Drive, click the drop-down > 'Let me choose another location' > navigate to and select the 'Steam' folder from H:

Thinking you'd first want to remove the new library before all that.

I do not get the option to 'Let me choose another location'.
Do you have multiple drives listed in the 'Add a new Steam library folder' popup dropdown?

I believed they'd reworked the dropdown so it would display the full list but see if you can scroll down on it.
No. The only option I get is *add drive. I can select choose "let me choose another location". when selected it opens a pop up that just has 2 buttons that say add or cancel. I have no ability to target/select or type the location.
Hmm, let me re-write the instructions so its clear if we're on the same page:

First click 'Add Drive'.
Next, click the drop-down highlighted in this screenshot:

Are you seeing the option 'Let me choose another location' listed there?
Yes, I actually tried this dozens of times. I went ahead and shut off the PC and restarted steam. When I clicked on the add it finally gave me the option to select the location.

I appreciate the help.
