Here is the message I just sent to Steam Support - I now have a 7 day cooldown because their game is crashing...

For the past month or so my game has been randomly closing, started a couple of weeks after a clean install of windows.
The logs report that while I am playing the game it checks for an update reported it's fully installed then a minute or 2 later it crashes.
Because Steam puts an Update Lock on the app after checking for updates the game isn't able to validate files or download files for repair, I can't even uninstall and reinstall the app.
I've restarted in an attempt to remove the lock but it's maintains the lock even after closing steam and restarting.
As a result I have lost 1000's of elo points and now have a 7 day ban.....

This is the only game that is impacted by this issue.

Why is it happening, how can I fix it, and can you remove my ban, I'd also love my elo back but I doubt you care that much.
