Dog Tribute

The dog in my photo is my old dog. He passed recently. As a tribute, I would like to add a profile frame that looks like an angel halo. I found one that fits perfectly above his head, but I do not have enough points to buy it. I noticed there are some websites where you can buy points from third parties, and it is much cheaper than buying games to unlock the points. Could this get you banned or anything like that?

Note: I tried to buy it directly from the marketplace, but I am not able to purchase frames there.

It won't get you banned, but you risk being scammed since that kind of a transaction isn't supported by Steam.

Which frame is it and how many points do you need for it?

Please do not do this. You will 100% be scammed and Steam won’t help since the issue will be with a third party

Using 3rd party sites is always risky hence the reason steam does not support them.
If you did buy 3rd party they would issues points to you via awards. They can easily revoke those awards by resetting the password on the account that issued the awards and you would not receive the points and be out of pocket for what you spent on them.

It's really not worth the risk..
