Some time ago I connected my nintendo switch controller by cable to my PC to play games. One day something happened to my PC and I formatted it and today I want to play again on the controller but it won't let me, I have searched for tutorials on youtube and none of them help me. Windows detects it as a controller and makes the sound that something is connected but steam does not recognize it. Any solution?

I don't have bluetooth I just have the nintendo switch controller and the original cable.
