What game data needs to be copied to a new PC?
Hi all - What game/user data is not saved on the Steam servers? I know the Program Files x86 - Steam - steamapps - common tree, but what files within need to be preserved when migrating to a new PC? Apologies for not knowing where current detailed FAQ posts are. If this is in fact game-dependent, please LMK. Thanks -- Ian (ianbtv)

In the past I've been fine with just copying the whole game folder from steamapps to another and trying to install the game which usually should detect existing files and fill in the gaps when it verifies the files.

Will do, and will report back. Thanks!
If you want to keep all data from you old PC, you can backup your windows "user" folder so you can restore all of your personal info.

it is located in C:/User/

You may have to "Show Hidden Files" to be able to copy them from "File Explorer" to your thumb drive or backup drive of your choice.
