Steam Desktop Client Capped At 60FPS?
Is there a way to get the steam desktop client to run at my monitors refresh rate? I have a 240hz monitor as my main and a 144hz as my second, and I noticed that the Steam only runs at 60fps, with no way to adjust it to my monitors actual refresh rate. Scrolling in my library and the desktop looks very choppy and sluggish, and I'd like to know if there's a way to fix it by running it at the correct framerate.

How did you determine Steam runs at 60FPS? I mean it's just a desktop app, and generally random apps don't have FPS settings because FPS isn't a concern.

That being said, with enough stuff on certain pages, like the library, it's pretty complex and that can be slow for some people on some hardware. There might be settings and configurations to help smooth things out. But not every performance issue equates to FPS.

I'm open to clarification though.
