IP Logger
okay can people use an ip logger on steam because one of my friends just tried to ip log me and idk what to do, and he clearly showed me my address, what do i do, any tips, do i just report him or block him or is this a normal thing to do

IPv4 addresses are not unique anymore. As there are more humans (8 billion) than IPv4 addresses (4.2 billion), ISPs have chosen to route users together on an identical IPv4 address. This technique is known as CGNAT.

It is therefore highly unlikely that someone can find your precise IRL location by logging your IPv4 address.
