DOWNLOAD SPEED IS FRUSTRATINGLY SLOW!!
I have 400mbps internet but im only peaking at 1mbps in steam downloads but works perfectly fine outside of steam. help me!!!

this is also happening to me. I tried installing the same game that im updating in EGS, and it has no issues T_T I DONT WANT TO GET OFF STEAMMM please fix this:steamsad:

I was having the same issue. My internet had 1000 Mbps download speed and I was fluctuating between 0 and 100. What I found out is that my SSD used for the installation was throttling downloads. I just upgraded to one with a 6000 write speed and my downloads now fluctuate between 500 and 1000 Mbps as they should. You may need to check what your write speeds are for whatever drives you use.

That makes so much sense, but I never considered the write speed of the drive in relation to download speeds. Thank you.
