Help me find a game.

I'm looking for a game that is a level pass. My character will be a person but square and everything in the level will be square, similar to Minecraft. You can pass the checkpoint. There will be a cannon. Shoot at the background and some anime images will appear. Then you pass the level and the whole anime image will appear.
I've seen this game on steam.

It doesn't seem like it. Let me explain a little more. My character is a square human with a jetpack on his back to get through the levels. When you clear the levels, you get an anime image. During the levels, there are checkpoints to show some images.
