Vietcong
Why isn't Vietcong on Steam?

That way it just works for everyone who runs it. Also, it's a very small game by today's standards. It's very easy to run.

Ask the license holder to bring their game to Steam.

:nkCool:
Games are only available where the publisher wants it to be. If you want that game on Steam, take it up with the publisher. Same applies to any other game.

I really like that game! I would buy it in a heartbeat if it was available on Steam.

I bought the CD version a few months ago (one of my original discs broke years ago) and was even able to play it again.

Unfortunately the add on didn't run on Win 11 for whatever reason.

I don't know who the current license holder is, but the original developer no longer exists.
The company was acquired by Take-Two Interactive in January 2008 and subsequently organised under the 2K label, becoming 2K Czech. The studio was merged into 2K's Hangar 13 in 2017.

According to Wikipedia, it's a 2003 game.

Now, we have many kind-of-broken games on Steam because of their age -- but, if they bring a game to Steam and it's already broken, that's just opening them up for problems and bad press. Thus, they would likely have to work on it for a bit, which just isn't worth it for a 2003 game.
