Steam refusing refunds for Subscription, what can I do?
Long story short, I went to steam, checked the Racing Fest discounts, clicked on iRacing, it showed me "25.19 Eur /year first time offer then 125.99/year"
I clicked on add to cart, it charged me for 125.99 immediately. Got scared like oh my god, I didn't want this like this, so I asked for a refund, because I have played the game in 2024 more than 2 hours (I set up the game so it tracks playing time, now I regret doing that) I was automatically declined twice and got told to read the refund policy.

So I did.

Steam states this specifically:

Renewable Subscriptions

For some content and services, Steam offers periodic (e.g. monthly, yearly) access that you pay for on a recurring basis. If a renewable subscription has not been used during the current billing cycle, you may request a refund within 48 hours of the initial purchase or within 48 hours of any automatic renewal. Content is considered used if any games within the subscription have been played during the current billing cycle or if any benefits or discounts included with the subscription have been used, consumed, modified or transferred.

Please note that you can cancel an active subscription at any time by going to your account details. Once cancelled, your subscription will no longer automatically renew but you will retain access to the content and benefits of the subscription through the end of your current billing cycle.

Because of this, I wrote them another refund request, but I suspect it will be auto declined because of the playtime, however based on this text since I have not started the game itself in my current billing period I'm supposed to be eligible for a refund.

If they keep rejecting me with template messages, what can I do to contact them? I believe I'm in the right, and I've got nowhere else to ask except here at this point. (Also its a 125 euros, that is a lot of money for me at least and I was expecting 25)

(I don't even care about the fact that the prices that were displayed and the amount charged was totally misleading and it wasn't the same price, I'm sure if you are determined enough and care about this, you could make a suit about it but I do not have the knowledge for that, nor the time, I just want my money back)

are you doing the auto refund system or did you submit a manual ticket? the auto system only checks playtime.

a manual ticket will get someone to read your request. select the purchase, then select "I have a question" and explain the situation there. be clear about the issue, dont put a lot of backstory that adds nothing.
