i joined my friends family while ago and i accidentally joined as a child, bc of that i can't access my store preferences and account details

can i leave and join back the same group without having to wait 1 year??

Yes. That slot is reserved for you for the remainder of your 1 year since joining that family. Whether or not your status can change from child to adult, I'm not entirely sure.

Yes you can rejoin the same family. The 1 year cool down only applies to joining a different family.
