If i put the cd key in steam? like quake 2 or something. can i use the disk and cd key again without steam?
Just wondering.
If i put a old game like quake 2 key in steam. IDK decide to just install it again without steam. Will it work. just wondering.

bad example q2 does not use cd key/check ^^

anyway.. if its cd-key (offline) then yes it will still work

if its online activation key - depends on if the servers still up

steam key.. no they are 1 time use only

Although keep in mind most cd keys have nothing to do with Steam, and can't be activated on Steam.

Heck, you can't even put in old Half-Life cd keys anymore.
