Hacked then Disabled EA Account
I have tried for hours to unlink a hacked EA account from my Steam account but steam has now way of doing that. I obviously can't login onto the EA account and unlink it there, and steam doesn't have anyway of unlinking it. So any EA game I want to play - I can't because the account was permanently disabled. I assume the link between EA and Steam is mutual in a way such that if Steam was to disagree with it - EA would unlink the account. I really just want to contact steam directly instead of going through the premade support which doesn't solve my problem.

Third party account linking is managed by the third party, not Steam.

Permanently disabled/banned EA accounts cannot be unlinked.

If you wish to play EA games, you will have to get a new EA account and buy them from EA directly.

If you wish to play them through Steam, you will need a new Steam account as well.

All linking, unlinking is done on EA's end as you linked your Steam account to EA via EA to be able to play their games on Steam, not vice versa.

You have to try to recover your EA account although that might not be possible as noted by Ettanin.

Your account wasn’t hacked. Valve’s uninvolved. Obviously. This is between you and EA.
