steam making me redownload game every damn time

sooo for some reason steam is re downloading games im playing, its always a game i played in that session, anyone know how to fix this? its not like the files are gone, they are still there but even than it keeps doing this..

Do it happenmd then you dl then exit steam start steam again.

Do not reboot pc or have other app that might do some cache clean up.

or change accout,

You only have windows check disk and steam repair library, and validate game intergrity of filers.

ps.
make sure you have plenty of free storage space does on all multi steam drives, so it have enough free room for updates on every drive, just in case it DL to other drives and run out of storage space.

next gen game has way more then 200gb free storage space after the installation,
games like BGIII is 150gb so tiny drives with free space is user issue not a steam issue.
