So, I might expect that most general information or statements about the game to focus on the stated release date, September 25th. That value may not be dynamic and change if you purchase the ultimate version.

Another way to look at this could be, "The release date updated to Sep 19th, so are they releasing the game early now, and early access begins on the 12th?" Maybe you won't have that question, but other people will. After all, you're basically asking the same question now. So if EA sticks to the 25th release date for all the things mentioning the release date, it limits confusion because at most early access begin on the 18th.

Also if the game says 18th for you, and the 25th for someone else, that's bound to create confusion.

So, if it were me I'd keep an eye on the FC 26 forum for updates/news. And I'd just see what's up on Sep 18th/19th. Because early access is going to begin around that time, or a few days prior to Sep 25th.

It also sounds like the exact date of early access may not be set in stone. "up to 7 days" is pretty open ended and it's not a promise that early access will begin exactly 7 days prior to the Sep 25th release date.

it always show the normal release date, since that is the release date.

don't worry, if you bought ultimate edition that includes advanced access, you will get it.
thats how it works with all games that have advanced access.
