Steam stopped detecting my controller in games I've already played using the same controller
I tried a lot and nothing i did fixed this issue, the problem is happening with sekiro,final fantasy xii and x/x-2 and the ninja gaiden master collection, this are all games that i played with controller with zero issues in the past, out of nowhere it simply stopped working, every other game on steam and other platforms works with zero issues with my controller only these games i mentioned have this problem if anyone can help me with this issue i would be grateful. the controller is a generic xbox series x kp-gm019.

Final Fantasy X and X2 always had issues with controllers. Even when i played it years ago. That might not be related to your other controller issues your having in other games. In fact to use a controller in X and X-2 i had to use a third party program xpadder to get a controller to work in them.

As for your other controller, try uncheckmarking them in big picture mode. See if that works for the other games.

There are two places. The first is under Settings and Controllers. The other one is under big picture mode. Go into settings into it and you should see it in there.
