When I try to trade with a 3rd party website it tells me I am "unable to trade". It does not give me any reasons as to *why* I cannot trade, I have a public inventory and no community bans.

You won't find any official documentation about it.

The unfortunate part about the new profile name change trading cooldown (4 hour cooldown every time you change your profile name) is that page (linked below) will only state, "we have confirmed your account is unable to trade" generic message. Leaving people wondering wtf is going on.

The error while you trade during this cooldown is error (34).

It took a while earlier last year to figure out Valve silently added the new cooldown.

Damn, thought that shouldn't restrict you, people have told me that at the very least, but it does make sense ig considering that's the only thing I changed about my account. Appreciate the help.
