My Steam client is breaking due to elements, NEED HELP
My Steam client is slowly losing functionality, certain panels like news, notifications, friend code page, game news show up blank. It started small but has spread over time(i think, never checked). The framework loads, but the embedded Chromium views don’t render. The same Steam account works fine in a browser and on another PC, so it’s specific to my machine.

What I’ve Tried:

Reinstalled Steam completely (multiple times, including cache/data wipes).

Opted in/out of Steam beta.

Cleared Steam’s web browser cache and config files.

Ran with -cef-disable-gpu and other launch options.

Reinstalled/rolled back GPU drivers using DDU.

Ran sfc /scannow and DISM /RestoreHealth.

Repaired/reinstalled WebView2 Runtime.

Reset Internet Options and checked certificate stores.

Full Windows reset/rollback.

Result:

None of these fixed it.

DISM and SFC found no repairable corruption.

The issue keeps “spreading”(unconfermed) to more panels over time.

Works fine in web browser and on another PC this is not a Steam account issue.

What I Suspect:

Either a deep Windows subsystem corruption (WinHTTP, CryptoAPI, or CEF dependencies) that survived reset/rollback.

Or a hardware-level problem (disk, RAM, GPU) slowly corrupting files or breaking rendering.

What I Need Help With:

Running full hardware diagnostics (RAM test, SMART check, GPU stress test).

If hardware passes, performing a true clean install from ISO (delete all partitions, fresh Windows) and confirming Steam works on a bare system.

If im over complicating it or missed anything other problem solving way not listed, im not a expert in this.

I also wish to avoid trying to fresh install windows 11 if i can help it, since it would require to much work and stress to deal with.

p.s. mods, if this is the wrong subforum please move it appropriately

hello

there is also steam/logs and may be you can check if you see anything strange from theses logs
seems more of an w11 issue than something from steam itself

i relooked and googled so here is my issue

```Your Steam client is repeatedly failing to fetch/parse a required JS file from Akamai/steamstatic. Combined with the HTTP/2 stream errors, this strongly suggests a network path issue (ISP cache/CDN edge problem, DNS, proxy/AV web shield) or a corrupted cache in Steam’s embedded Chromium```
