Steam won't remember password after change

I changed my Steam password and now it prompts me every time to reenter it. I made sure the "don't save account credentials" are unchecked and I deleted the local folder. The latter worked for one day and now it's back to asking for password. Any ideas?

Yeah, Steam’s being annoying with saving your password. Try this:

When you log in, make sure “Remember my password” is checked.

Check Steam settings and make sure “Don’t save account credentials” isn’t checked.

Close Steam, go to the Steam folder and delete the file called loginusers.vdf, then open Steam and log in again.

Sometimes antivirus or cleanup apps mess with Steam’s files, so check if anything like that is running.

If it still asks every time, might just be a Steam bug. Hopefully they fix it soon.

I've tried this. I've deleted the login file and it will save for a day or so then go right back to not remembering the password. Any other ideas?

hmm..try a steam config flush. It basically makes it when your first downloaded your steam on your pc. If it still happens after this, then i would say a driver or windows update maybe causing this issue. Im leaning towards a graphic driver update.
