Neither html nor bb code. The only images, videos, etc. seen are those that you upload to the Steam Community.

Apologies for bumping an old thread, but I’m currently having trouble embedding widget images into my forum posts. My post images are usually set to "unlisted" or "public" viewing.

For some unknown reason, images that previously displayed correctly have now stopped working — instead of showing the embedded image, only the URL appears.

To explain this issue, I’m posting one of my image URLs below to see if it embeds properly. If it doesn’t, I’ll consider raising a Steam support ticket to investigate further.

The image should display in the same way as the one shown in Post #1 above.
Here’s the actual URL address I’m trying to embed:

* https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3439842643 *

And just below this line should appear the embedded image of that URL, that I’m expecting to see:

EDIT: As can be seen, the embedded image is not displaying itself the same as in post 1.

Thanks for the link. I wish I’d come across that other thread sooner, as it’s much more relevant to the issue I’m facing.

I’ll try out the suggestions you've mentioned there and will post an update once I’ve had a bit more time to look into this problem in detail tomorrow. Moreover, I will post my test results in your other thread.
