A "VR only filter" for Wishlists :: Suggestions / Ideas

A "VR only filter" for Wishlists

I have hundreds of games in my wishlist but now that I'm into VR I want to see only the VR supported games, and also other people's wishlists serve as a way to find new VR games for me and it's interesting to see what games they like/want.

There's a filter to exclude "VR-Only" games but there's no such filter to show "Only VR supported games"

I see that every category "PRICE, DISCOUNT, EXCLUDE, ONLY SHOW" only has 3 options, so I guess it was part of Valve's design to make the wishlist more minimalist but we kinda need more new options for the filters, like adding VR-Only to "ONLY SHOW" like there is for "Windows Mac OS X SteamOS + Linux"

Hopefully I made myself clear, I'm tired of having to scroll through hundreds of games to see the VR games in my wishlist, I know that next to the OS logo there's the info for VR Only or VR supported, but they're mixed with hundreds of other games so in huge wishlists it takes forever and is tiring, please make it happen Valve!

This would be fantastic! Not sure why they thought it was useful to exclude VR, but not exclude non-VR games. During this sale, I'd love to look at the VR games on my wishlist, sort by review score, and then decide which I may want to purchase.

This is seriously needed.

I have around 450+ games in my wishlist so imagine how stupidly hard it was on the winter sale having to scroll through all the flat games trying to find the VR games on sale that I was actually interested in that I added previously.

It could all have been solved with a simple filter to show only VR games, how is that so hard? I thought Valve were really supportive of VR with the Index and all, so how about adding such a basic thing to make life easier?

That doesn't actually work (for me) as it returns drastically fewer VR games than are on my wishlist. It seems to only show games with VR in the name despite saying it searches tags also. If that search was fixed, it could be a viable option.

Like shadows said, it only returns games with the word "VR" in the title and obviously not all VR games have it. Gorn, Beat Saber, Compound and a long etc are some of the examples off the top of my head.

Well heres an idea. Stop adding every single game u see on your wishlist.

At this point in time u don't need some overly cumbersome, hyper specific, stupidly complex built-in system from Steam, u need Microsoft Excel. Remove some of that crap man.

Who the hell has time to play 450+ games anyway? I've got 6 on my wishlist. SIX!

Crazy this hasn't been addressed, it can literally be just a toggle "VR Only" or "VR supported" in the wishlist, it would be way more accurate than searching for " VR" in the name or tags since some games that support VR do not have that tag, mainly games that added VR later or as a secondary thing.

You can tag filter your wishlist already, just open your wishlist and click on a tag you wish to sort by. https://i.imgur.com/hcxqpdK.png

Oh, that worked. But you need to set the view to Expanded to see that and then search for a game with the tag you want. I was thinking in a section in options.

Well, better than nothing.
