When it comes to Demos, when I download them, I jump into them right afterwards. The quicker I am able to test them, the better. I don't stack Demos up. I remove them after I try them and then, I move on.
You can also just create a "Demo" list and add them to it.
Also, it sounds like we are different people. I look over the demos available and if one sounds like one I would like, I install it. I may not be in the mood to play it at that exact moment, but I will be at some point. Why are you so critical of a feature request that has 0 affect on you but would be helpful for others who operate in different ways. I add games to my library when I am waiting on something to finish processing at work, I can't play it, but I can add it for later. Different strokes for different folks, my man.
And I have over 900+ games that I own myself and depending on the game, has a decent amount of hours in it (if it keeps me interested/hooked = more game time in said game)
I just create new lists and add whatever games to it myself. That's what I meant, why can't you just make a "Demo" category in your Library and put all of your Demos in there?
I don't know why you wanted to mention how many games you own and this/that. Stick to the main topic, "Demo Tag?" and yeah, sorry for mentioning how I play and deal with Demos.
Not everyone is the same. I just threw my two cents in there for no reason.
Type Demo into the library search bar. Shift+Click the first demo and the last demo in the search to highlight them all (control+click for highlighting individual titles), right click and add to a category.
Not as big problem outside the fests as my queue is usually one or two demos instead of twenty.
At least I do have that information at the bottom of my static demo category if I sort by playtime.
