Suggestion: Limitations/Control over ads/merch news posts.
Okay, I don't mind ads/merch posts since I usually get a few from games and that's it, but there's this one game that takes it further than that, and that game is Terraria.

Terraria used to have a tolerable level of advertisement for merchandise, but the past few years they've been increasing it. Something to note is that there's always a "State of the Game" post every month, and unfortunately that itself also comes with talk about their merch, so that is already a guarantee to be an advertisement post.

At times there might be no extra advertisement, at times there's one. The most they've done in a month is, besides the "State of the Game" posts, there's 3 merch talk (In November 2023. One post for novel, one for holiday shopping, and one for the plush), and since State of the Game is also news post, that's 4 advertisements from one game in a month.

Please, either set some kind of limit to how often people can advertise their stuff, or alternatively give people control what type of news they want to see by adding tags to news posts with the option for people to pick what type of news posts they want to see. After a while it just gets mentally tiring to look at news, hoping for a new update or talk about the new update for a game, just for the news post to be about nothing but new merch.
