Curator Ignore Limits

You can only ignore up to 100 curators at a time, and if one of them gets "disabled" (I assume banned/taken down/deleted) you are permanently down 1 slot, and if this happens enough times you permanently lose the ability to ignore curators.

You also can't see any curators in the "IGNORED" tab unless you search for a keyword in their name, which you don't know because they don't show up.

It's not only game companies and developers who are curators, which there must be at least thousands of, but any steam group can become a curator, and every non-limited steam user can create up to 10 of them.

Steam support could not give a workaround and suggested to put this here for the developers:

- The 100 limit for ignoring curators should be removed.
- If that's not possible, it should be extended as much as it can be,
- Even if that can't be done, automatic removal of ignore status of deleted curators should be done to free up ignore slots.
- Also make the ignored tab show the curators you ignored.

I do agree that the 100 curator ignore limit should be lifted. I reached it years ago. They should also change the error message when you reach the limit as it's completely misleading.

Note: You cannot ignore a curator you already follow.

No I'm not and even if I was ignoring a curator I follow should just automatically remove the follow. It should clearly state that:

Error

There was a problem trying to ignore the Steam Curator.
You have ignored maximum number of curators.

The limit includes both followed and ignored curators and devs/pubs.

The ignore limit is so low, why is it merely 100? I wanted Steam to recommend me some smaller curators, but it just recommends me ♥♥♥♥ I don't care about with 10k+ subscribers. But those don't go away unless I ignore them, so Steam won't give me new recommendations.

There are hundreds of thousands of curators, but you can only ignore 100. That's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid.

Steam definitely needs to increase the ignore limit. Either that or remove curators that just spam cat noises or YES! as their reviews...

while i havent even used the feature, i can 100% agree, a limit of 100 when there are 1000's or more, is ridiculous.

and im not surprised to see someone mention spam, being a part of the curator reviews, its utterly ridiculous that steam with its multi billions of dollars, cant seem to have some sort of control over their platform, to clean up all the nonsense, like what you have mentioned.

reviews, curators, forums, you name it... all of it is rolling down hill, reviews are trash now, curators apparently arent much better, the forums have took a nose dive, the reward feature is and always will be crap and the points arent much more useful, trading cards are being turned into cash grabs, etc.. etc..
