Anyway I really hope the AI system that autobans is not given permission to perma.
I wish they'd hand out perma bans more often, save people a lot of trouble here.
"More often" implies they do at all, and quite frankly I'm pretty sure they stopped doing that. Not sure why.
These aren't "customer forums", because a user is not required to have paid any money in order to post here. There are merely limitations on how many posts they can make a day and their chosen display name will only appear as numbers, that's it.
Yes, I do believe users should be permanently banned from the forums if needs be. Doing this does not prevent them from accessing any necessary services, like support. Nor does it prevent them from searching the forums for answers to questions they may have.
I don't know what group of regulars you're talking about, because I've not seen anyone here on either side of the coin, except a rare few, that actually want to stamp out opposing opinions.
Clearly wouldn't do anything
They should if anything escalate to over a month. Afterall, if the same punishment doesnt get results then the punishment should escalate until it stops bad behavior.
