searching by year

any workaround to search games by year? , classifying all games by year , is not so hard isn't it?

The problem is the date on Steam refers to the date it actually released on Steam so if a game released elsewhere that is not the date used on Steam.

Example: Horizon Zero Dawn: PS4 February 28, 2017 - PC August 7 2020.

Not always true. Some games that were added to Steam have their original release date listed. I don't have examples immediately at hand but I've seen games released in the 90s (and later) have that listed when Steam itself didn't come into existence until 2003.

I know that is the case, I think they can achieve it relatively quickly using machine learning. Mosly for the new and not so new indie games here on steam, just to keep track of them, I can manage the rest just fine,but in general I think it would be a nice feature to have
