Less than 2 hr. refunds
Valve can kiss my ass. I have been with them since they started and NEVER have requested a refund for a game until now and was denied because it was over 2 hrs played. I have ten hours trying to evaluate the game I bought. Who in the hell can evaluate a game in just 2 hours? Im sick and tired of companies not having any loyalty towards their costumers anymore but want yours!. There was a time where they would bend over backwards to keep you as a costumer, but not anymore! Im out and will buy from other sources. Game companies for the most part have their own game launchers and stores now, thats where I'll be. You have outdated your usefulness, Goodbye Steam!!!!!!!!!!

Refund policies aren't there to demo games.
felling entitled today? the refund system is not there for you to demo games for free. if you feel that the 2 hour window is unacceptable, then try a different store.
no on cares their store their rules dont like it to bad go somewhere else
Who takes 10 hours to determine whether to keep a game?

10 is 5 times more than 2. Stop trying to use your purchases as demos.

Bye.
First post in over 2 years.....lol
If its your very first refund, go to help with the product and refund from there and mention its your first ever.

Everyone basically gets a freebie but dont expect it again.

10 hours. :taloslol:
The rules say 2 hours. It is quite possible to decide if you like or don't like a game within 2 hours and you are always allowed to get a refund for not liking a game within that window and there is nothing wrong with doing so.

It is better to simply play for 2 hours and then ask for the refund then if you have not be able to figure out if you like it within those two hours than play for 10 and realize you actually don't like it. More likely Valve will back you up then too.

Go to the purchase.

Select "I have a question about this purchase."

Politely and with NO implied entitlement, request a refund exception for the game. Be humble.

Wait for a reply. Hope that they agree and give you a refund, but if they still come back and deny it you will have to accept that as their final answer.

Good luck.

taking 10 hours before finally deciding to refund is pretty wild ngl
I mean good luck buying elsewhere, most of the gaming sites have an identical rule to steam. I mean the rules are clearly posted and getting mad because they followed the rules doesn't really make sense.
10+ years old account doesn't know the refund policy.

ALWAYS educate yourself on a stores refund policy BEFORE you buy anything.

I have to deal with people constantly at my workplace who get upset that I can't give them a refund because they are not eligible for one or have had their ability to refund revoked due to abuse of the refund system at my workplace.

Yes. The rules are the same for all, you are not special.

Not what the refund system is here for.

By loyalty you mean special treatment because you are very special.

Yes, and that has lead to people like you believing that they are very special.

Good luck, I am sure other companies will recognice how very special and unique you are and bend over backwards to adjust their rules to your whims. I'm sure, how could it be any other way? You are very special after all.

Those who read/watch reviews of the game prior to purchasing in lieu blindly purchasing and then having buyer's remorse due to low funds.

Also when leaving be sure you actually leave.

Best of luck, blocked, etc.
