SUGGESTION: "Repair Game Files" option next to "Validate Game Files"
I think it would be a very convenient to have "Repair Game Files" sit besides or replace "Validate Game Files".

To my knowledge, "Validate Game Files" only reacquires MISSING game files, but for us heavy modders, it would be nice to have an option that would not only reacquire missing files, but also automatically delete files that are not a part of the original installation.

This would help save on data and time by ensuring game folders are wiped of modded files without having to uninstall and reinstall an entire game. Thank you.

No, it validates the installed files, if any of them has changed they will be reacquired and replaced.

The validate is doing what you request. No need for another button.

Doubt they will ever do that, that would be likely to delete saves and other important files like config files that are saved after running the game, and open up a giant can of worms.
If you absolutely need to have files you created deleted from a game's folder, delete the files and run the validation afterwards. There are many more cases where automatically deleting files would be harmful than where it would be helpful.
