It would be greatly beneficial to have an option to completely hide hours played for my entire steam library, and on my personal profile.

I understand that tracking the time played on a game is necessary for steam's refund policy, but I would prefer to have an option for the time to be completely invisible to me (this includes past, and current playtime), and the playtime to be tracked in a way that I can't see.

I understand that this is quite a personal, and specific issue, but having each minute add onto a permanent counter has recently started taking away from the enjoyment of a game. I understand that these numbers can be made private from others, but I don't like seeing my own playtime, regardless if others don't. It almost feels like a permanent, unmodifiable record rather than a nice tracker feature.

There is already functionality for steam profiles to hide playtime hours, so I hope that the same can be applied to my own library when I look at it, where no playtime could shown.
