Unlisted screenshots should be embeddable in Discussions
Basically, exactly what it says. Currently, only Public screenshots get expanded into a nice embed with a preview, and Unlisted ones just remain a plain link person needs to visit to even see what you attached. That's... Dumb.

The whole point why you would upload an unlisted screenshot instead of a public one is if you want to just attach an illustration to your message, as opposed to publish a pretty screenshot to your Activities or game's screenshots page. And it currently can't be used for that sole purpose Unlisted visibility serves.

Since you didn't post examples, let's test it.

Public

Unlisted

Edit
Non-Steam screen shots seem to behave the same way, even when public.

The reason is moderation.

If you can embed arbitrary images on the forum, people are going to post gore, pornography, all that.

A public screenshot shows up in the game hub and has many more eyes on it.

That's... Backwards. How can embedding something bad in a single random thread is worse than showing it in the public hub for everyone to see?
