I play video games because I enjoy the feeling of loneliness but if there is that big of a market of those who feel otherwise, don't let me stop you. Everyone has their own needs and one size fits all is seldom a useful answer.

You could try finding some people with similar interests and making friends.

That sounds a lot better to me than having the platform lie to you about things.
