Wishlist lists the experation date for the game on sale in your wishlist
Honestly its a pain to click on every game thats on sale to see the date it expires on, if it could say like "Ends: Nov 26th" or "Expires: Nov 26th" right above the deal - where the % off and the current price is - would be a really good QOL addition

Generating click throughs for statistical purposes is one of the major reason it's like this.

You can always right click and open in a new window or middle mouse click to do the same.

An obsession with these bizarre second order metrics at the cost of useful functionality for the customer is certainly a sign of a healthy company.

Statistical analytics are not only for Steam but for devs/pubs and their investors.

They are far more valuable to companies and their marketing departments more than you realize.

There are some things you can opt out of for reporting...

To be clear, I'm not against the suggestion though.
