I would like the option to sift through games by the year the games was released.
Right now all you can do is sort games by latest releases but I would like an option in the sidebar (where you can pick genres, prices, only Vr and more) to pick a certain year to find games.
For example, you can choose to only find games released in 2012.
This would make finding older gems that are lost in the game store so much easier.

A while ago I was looking up videos on Youtube about old Rpg games on the Ps3 to play.
I found maybe 15 different games I wanted to play and when I googled them I found about 12 of them were already on Steam.
So having an option to be able to pick what year a game was released I think would be a great way to find some older gems.
