New steam discovery queue stops informed wish-listing
The new steam discovery queue shown in the 2025 steam summer sale is too dumbed-down to make wish-list decisions.
We can't see reviews, screen shots, supported features such as steam workshop, ULA & DRM information, etc.
Please, return to the old discovery queue.

I agree, that the new queue is REALLY bad, but as far as I understand it's sale-specific (or at least it was for few sales now).

You can always access old one via Store -> Discovery queue

I really hope Valve won't get a brilliant idea to fully replace the old one with this thing. :SlimyPray:

I don't like it either, plus I can't check the option "ignore, because I own it elsewhere"
Please Valve, make a discovery queue that at least shows gameplay screen shots and not only the trailer. Who makes a decision with only seeing the trailer.
As someone who used the queue a LOT, I cannot stand the changes. Now, the ONLY option is to click through, skipping everything, if you actually want to complete a queue. You can visit the store page- but that kicks you out of queue. That's your ONLY option now. No wishlisting, no blocking, nothing. It's bad for wishlisters, it's bad for shoppers, and frankly, it's bad for the games, too, since it literally *encourages* users to skip everything, just to get whatever queue reward is on offer. It's terrible design, and I can't believe anyone gave it a green light. Honestly, I have a visual disability, and I initially thought that the buttons were simply pushed off-screen by my oversized fonts, but no. No buttons. Which makes the discovery queue entirely pointless.
Ive found the changes to be...unnecessary, personally. Feels like change for the sake of change and slick UI bull:DSTpoop: for which I have a particular loathing.
The new discovery Queue is the BIG SUCK... and not in the good kind of way. terrible decision they have made to use it. I have viewed 20k games in the old queue and will not use the new one as its worthless for finding games I want.

You are able to wishlist or ignore the games directly in the queue it's the "star" and "deny" button beside the "View store page button", but the queue is still badly designed if you do not find it immediatly.

100% agree. Barely even using it anymore.
Removing things from a tool and making it more tedious to see them is NOT an upgrade.
Hwoever agreed to implement this should maybe do a public community poll next time to see how out of touch they are.

The old Discovery Queue has not gone anywhere. You can still use it.

It even links you to the old Queue in the store navigation bar.

Hover over Your Store in the top menu bar when viewing any store page.

Select Discovery Queue.
