Assign community hub to a non-steam game.
Just that. Non-steam games' pages feel empty, and community hubs are open to see even if you don't own the game. It would be awesome if we could attach a already existing community hub that we want to our non-steam games.

One of the perks of buying the game on Steam is the community hub.

not really since you can see it without buying it, it would be nice if you could have it there so the page doesnt feel empty.

It attaches your copy to that hub. When adding a non-Steam game, all Steam does is read what the exe file is.

And as said, that's one of the perks.
When a game dev pays that $100 USD to put their game on Steam, they get a game hub.
They payed for that space.

So there is no way a game that has not payed for space on Steam will get the same privileges.

yeah and i understand that, it was just a suggestion, i doubt that adding it would incentivize people to not buy on steam, since the hubs are open to everyone.

You'd be surprised. Seriously. You obviously don't know your fellow gamers or human beings very well. ;)
damn alright, sorry for making a suggestion then, no need to be rude about it

im not talking about making users create hubs for a random game that isnt on steam, i mean letting users attach a hub of a game that is already on steam on their imported game.

I'm not rude. Perhaps a tad direct, that's possible.

People have been wanting more non-Steam game stuff for ages. But seeing how many people are "no Steam, no buy", it's not a surprise Valve doesn't add too much. Especially when PlayNite and GOG Galaxy 2.0 basically cover the "all in one launcher principles".
