Hey guys!

After speaking with Steam Support, I was encouraged to post my feedback here. So here it is.

I'm sharing some observations about recent changes to the Steam interface that negatively impacted the user experience — particularly for those who care about organizing screenshots and tracking in-game items.


Previously, when checking the screenshots for a specific game through the Library page, it was easy to see which screenshots had already been published to the Steam community. The little cloud icon was shown on each thumbnail — very helpful!

Now, this icon is only visible when viewing All Screenshots, and not within the individual game's library page. This makes it much harder to keep track of what's been shared, especially for users who take many screenshots.

Please consider restoring this functionality. It was small, but extremely useful.


Until recently, when selecting multiple screenshots to publish, Steam would respect the selection order — the last one you selected would appear first on your profile/feed, and so on.

Now, the upload order seems completely random. This is frustrating for users who want to tell a story, post in sequence, or keep their feed organized. Please consider restoring the previous logic.


There used to be a great feature in the Library page of each game where it would display when you or your friends unlocked Steam Trading Cards. That feature has vanished.

It was a simple and efficient way to track progress and see when duplicate cards were earned — helping users decide what to sell, trade, or turn into gems. It's a small thing, but again, very helpful and now sorely missed.


I just want to emphasize that these aren't brand new feature suggestions. These were existing features that used to work beautifully and have quietly disappeared.

I hope the Steam team sees this feedback and considers bringing these functions back. They made a big difference to how we use and enjoy the platform — especially for people who care about organizing content, sharing screenshots, and keeping track of in-game collectibles.

edit: they fixed que cloud icon but still, the order of the selection is no longer considerated. I wish theyd also included a filter for "local" and "on cloud" while browsing screenshots from both all of them and at the specific game page.
