that is not how it works, you block someone in the forums, you are only setting their replies to be hidden from your view. These are Steams Forums, everyone is allowed to post.
When you block you are deciding not to communicate with them. They on the other hand can post on a thread you create, quote and reply to you if they choose to because they do not have you blocked after all these are public discussion forums where everyone is welcome.
These are discussion forums.
Not your personal echo chambers.

If you want to be able to control the narrative, go use Twitter, Bluesky, or Facebook.

If you block someone, that prevents them from posting on your guides, screenshots, profile page, sending trade invites, and sending you friend invites.

If you see a forum post from someone who you have blocked, have the self control to not hit the "show post" button.

Step 2: Regain self-control and ignore any invisible posts
If you want 'your' posts to be 'yours' post them in a Steam group you can control who posts there.
The forums are public, open to everyone. Not 'yours', not 'mine'

I wrote it so it's mine. I don't want to limit the audience, I want to filter malicious comments like yours that ruin the Steam community like you

Any forum worth its salt allows the post owner to control the bad actors who dirty the community. That's why the Steam forum is less visited by people, they have no control over their own posts, nor do they want to waste time with people and their rude opinions. The education of Steam users is below zero, from what I've noticed.

Thanks but no thanks

You do not own the threads you start, so you will not be able to ban other users from commenting on your postings.

This forum are open to all as long they don't break the rules.

Create a group or your own forum, there you have all the power to decide who post or not.

Not at all, that's what moderators are there to do. If someone break the rules you are free to report them.

I don't want to restrict anyone, but in the current times, it is coherent that whoever posts the post can filter those who do not add anything to the post, until now I have only seen arrogant people like you ordering me what to do, but I cannot order to limit them. lol irony of hypocrisy

I don't care if I pleased you, that's the truth and I don't need thanks from an insignificant stranger who infests other people's posts.

If the thread is yours, try deleting it.

I buy games here, so yes, I help maintain it as a taxpayer supports a country. The premise of freedom of this forum is so flawed that soon a moderator will block this post of mine. lol. exactly what I gave the idea to steam

You buy a game, you're entitled to said game. Nothing more, nothing less.

jesus, it's like explaining fire to Neanderthals
Neanderthals made use of fire, it's discovery and use by humanoids predates them.

You are not entitled to what you ask here. You not liking the response is more indicative of your own immaturity than any failing of the part of other participants. It's also telling that you resort to this lame duck attempt at an insult. Your problem is definitely in the mirror, not other people.

People with bad character love this debauchery to persecute users who post here, well, that's why it's a community with record game sales but low membership of people on the forum, because we come across these types of people who use the internet and their 'anonymity' to express their bad character until Steam itself limits the post, which could be done by the user himself. lol
