Licenses are permanently bound to your account. They can not be converted into keys to use outside of Steam.

If you want to ask game devs/pubs to offer you a free console copy of a game you purchased on Steam, ask them.

you dont own any games. what you own is a LICENSE only, nothing more. if you want to be able to transfer your games from steam to console, talk to people that manage the console.

the game developers are the ones that decide how their game is distributed, where it is sold, etc.

if you want to see a change to how licenses work, go talk to your lawmakers. until they force it, its not happening. and just remember, you may get what you asked for, but it is unlikely to be what you wanted.

I mean, it's not impossible. If a dev feels like giving all of their Steam users a way to get their game off Steam, it's up to the devs. Bethesda offered free transfers of their game titles to Steam when they decided to close down their own client/distribution platform. Ubisoft and EA kinda do that because of their 3rd party launcher, but it's not all the way converted to their own services.

But that's not something Valve can make happen on Steam.

You can, requires you contacting the game developers to show them proof of purchase and they can then provide keys for which ever console. That would of course be up to them as Valve would have no involvement of migrating anything over to a different service.

Though it would not hurt to have a pc that meets the system requirements of the games.
