clearing steam forums
i’m pretty sure someone already made a post about this but really steam forums needs to change, something has to be done about these trolls and people with clearly bad intentions not wanting to have a real discussions just baiting or straight up insulting.

my suggestions are:
1. strength the moderation
2. only people that owns the game can access or post that specific game forum

nothing too drastic right? it will purge these trolls and let flourish more important topics

Honestly, at this point it'd be a good idea to implement community managed blocklists and i usually hate those, but every game discussion page on steam has become nigh-unreadable because of ragebaiters, trolls and other semi-sapient simians that just bait with their sub 60 IQ takes in order to get jester awards.

Or remove the point shop awards completely, or implement blanket permamutes to every discussion page for people who do this, any of these would solve atleast most of the problem.

Hub moderation decisions are up to developers and publishers. Valve only provides assistance with reports, assistance developers and publishers are free to opt out of.

Developers and publishers already can make sub forums open for game owners only if they so choose, however Valve requires that each hub has one sub forum open for everyone.

Some games are multi platform.

Warhammer 40k Darktide for example is on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox.

So by leaving a section open for everyone, that means PlayStation and Xbox users can ask questions and get answers or just communicate with the other players even though they don't play on the same system.

(Though Darktide is cross play, so all players still play together.)
I wonder if OP purchased the "Suggestions / Ideas" game... and would he have to in order to post here. Fortunately its a public forum not a product. Public forums seem to be where the spammers post and steam accounts are free anyways. I'm not really seeing a solution here, and game hubs can protect their forums behind a paywall(buying their game) as they choose.

Use the block feature and don't interact with them. Best of luck, blocked, etc.
