Special Event Trading Cards Should Still Be Tradeable

I have trading cards from past events that I can't do anything with because they are "stuck" to my Steam account. While I do like collecting special cards from sales and such, it's annoying that you can't do anything with them after the event ends. I'm not necessarily asking for Valve to bring these cards back, but it would be nice if, after the event is over, we still could:

Trade them with friends, or even strangers.
Sell them on the Community Market.
Turn them into gems (not recommended, but could still be an option).

I'm sure there are other threads on this, but I'm bringing it up again.

They expired meaning, removed from your inventory.

Only those with a full set to craft can craft the badge whenever.

You also have a full month after the sale ends to do whatever you want with them. That is plenty of time to get rid of them.
