Improve Screenshot Upload Sorting and Filtering Options
First of all, I want to thank the Steam team for their constant work on improving the platform. Everyone who plays on PC knows Steam is the most complete and enjoyable experience out there. I also want to acknowledge that one of my recent requests regarding the missing cloud icon on uploaded screenshots has been addressed. You can check the original post here:

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/discussions/forum/10/601908674063052255/

Now, the cloud icon correctly shows whether a screenshot has been uploaded to the cloud, both in the general screenshot section and in the specific game’s page. That’s a big step forward (or back, depending on how much you were distracted).

Anyway, thanks Valve team!

What still needs improvement

However, something important that used to work still isn’t back: the original upload order of screenshots. As explained in my previous post, screenshots were previously organized in the order they were uploaded, even when uploading multiple ones at once. Now, this order is not respected anymore.

Some users claim that uploading them one by one preserves the order, but even if that’s true, it’s highly inconvenient, especially when you want to upload 10, 20, or more screenshots. The current solution is very inefficient.

And to make things easier and more practical, I’d like to suggest the implementation of a filter system. A very simple one. A dropdown menu with three options would be enough:

• All
• Uploaded
• Not Uploaded

These would allow users to view all screenshots, only those already uploaded to the cloud, or only those still pending upload. This would be helpful both in the general screenshot manager and in the game-specific library section.

Optional: bring this to Big Picture Mode too

As a small side note, it would be great if these same improvements were extended to Big Picture Mode. I understand this isn't the main point of this post, but since the current interface doesn't allow multi-selection or easy upload management, it would be a very welcome improvement for controller users.

Thanks again for listening to the community and continuing to refine the Steam experience.
