"Runs on Linux" library filter removal or rework
Seemingly recently, forced Proton integration was made mandatory on all games. While this is not necessarily a bad thing, it is inconvenient for one feature. The "Runs on Linux" filter used to tell you at a glance what games in your library ran on Linux natively and didn't need integration. However now, the filter does nothing. And its still there.

The first suggestion would probably be the *easiest*... but also the least desired, as that is removing the filter entirely, since it accomplishes nothing.

The second suggestion is to rework it so that it shows games that run nativly on Linux. Games that don't require Proton, and are built by their developers to run on the OS, are always going to run smoother than games that run on proton.

Re-adding the ability to disable forced proton integration on all games would also solve this issue, as you would be able to, as stated, disable it. I don't know why Steam removed the ability to disable it, rather than just setting it to enabled by default.

Absolutely. I migrated to linux and now I have a hell of a job identifying which games work and do not work natively on linux. Plus that the compatibility layer works allmost never on my distro
